"The PLG100-DX predates the Modular Synthesis Plug-in System and therefore is not 100% compatible with the Motif/Motif-Rack/S90/S80/S30/CS6x and CS6R. Certain parameters are only editable via the DX Simulator - that can be edited from the front panel when you have a PLG150-DX.
They are functionally the same except:
-you can create an autoload routine for the PLG150 versions - to automatically load your own custom DX sounds at powerup. The PLG100-DX does not support the autoload function.
-the PLG150 can do Mono mode, portamento and PB range from the Voice level parameters of the host product. In order to reach these parameters in a PLG100-DX you must use the DX Simulator (FM Voice Editor - download for free at http://www.yamahasynth.com—in the download section.
-You may also notice that with the PLG100-DX you do not get any sound from PLGPRE1 bank sound, A01 DX. E.Piano because it points to a DX element bank that is not available on the PLG100-DX board (bank 035/002).
The only problem with the using a PLG100-DX board is that it was created prior to the Modular Synthesis Plug-in System protocol… "
Asi que por lo visto las plg 100 son para teclados mas antiguos que los MOTIF ES? Un saludo y muchas gracias a quien pueda aclararme un poco el panorama.
