Yo me veo obligado a hacer esto porque no me tira el ordenador para mezclar, asi que voy haciendo submixes, pero me he encontrado en la pagina de john vestman que dice que es mejor masterizar con varios de estos submixes mas que con un mix final de todo;

Separations are easy to create - no added equipment or plug-ins are necessary. Here's a good example:
1) Simply record your normal completed stereo mix.
Then without changing any levels -
2) Mute (or disable) all tracks except the drums and make a separate stereo recording of just the drums (with all related effects)
3) Mute (or disable) all tracks but the bass - record the bass separately (in stereo with all related effects)
4) Mute (or disable) all tracks but the remaining instruments - record the instruments in stereo separately with all related effects
5) Mute all tracks but the vocals - record the vocals separately (in stereo with effects).
You have now recorded Separations. (More details ahead.)
Separation Mastering - Our Technique
Separation Mastering allows us to reconstruct your exact mixdown and enhance separate elements - without compromising the entire mix! It's more precise than applying traditional program equalizers and compressors to a complex 2-channel waveform. Separations do what multiband compressors DREAM they could do!
Whether we use digital or analog summing, Separations open up the sound, improves the transients and dimension. Each layer has more articulation, spatiality and musicality than a standard stereo format. We listen to your full 2-track mix and A-B compare it with your Separations to ensure that the intentions of your original mix are honored. We can now use more effective mastering enhancements to make an amazing - practically transformed final master for you.
Traduciendo brevemente; se trata de en vez masterizar un solo archivo wav masterizar 4 archivos a la vez;
