Unbelievable, but true: reFX presents the first complete virtual guitar instrument as a VSTi! With a completely new physical-modeling technology the guitar strings are simulated - Slayer supplies astonishing results: no matter whether solo or powerchords are played. Other sound desired? No problem: Slayer emulates three different pick-up types, which are still freely adjustable and in addition are combinable with seven string variants.

A good guitarist brings along his amplifier, also does Slayer: four AMP models and four cabinets for the correct sound are integrated. No matter whether jazz, rock, punk or metal: with Slayer it is only a few tweaks away!

In order to give to the sound the special extra, it requires effect equipment. No desire for cables? No problem: Slayer contains internal effects with 16 well liked effects, "Wah Wah", Tremolo, Phaser , Chorus and many more.

Here you can see and hear the biggest collection OASYS PCI Plug-ins on earth. Take a careful look at the list of plug-ins available at this moment. They are mainly physical modeled instruments (absolutely the biggest collection in the non-academic public domain!), but you will also find a nice couple of hybrid synthesizers and even a remake of the famous DX7(II).

Click on the name of a plug-in to get a description, a screenshot, an mp3 (most of the plug-ins have one, others are on their way), and the possibility to purchase.

The mp3's are rather simple pieces (mostly solo pieces), following the character and music style of the instrument, with only one purpose: to let you hear the quality of that particular plug-in. That's also why I have used very little effect, except a bit reverb - some pieces are even recorded without any effect at all! You will hear that lots of the plug-ins which emulate a 'real world' instrument often sound superior to their sampled counterparts.
