Alguien escribió:Hello,
no, there is no special vinyl, there is no 45rpm vinyl at all.
As you can see printed on the vinyls, they are ment to be played at 33rpm and NOT
at 45rpm.
But why should one want to play Timecode on 45rpm?
You'll end up having less time to play, and besides that it makes no difference at
all.
Please just use it as it should be used - at 33rpm.

Alguien escribió:Hello Stefan,
I'm so glad you answered so fast, but after reading your answer I have more questions.
Why putting a "45 rpm turntable speed" in "Timecode Setup -- Tracking" section if your vinyls can be played ONLY at 33 rpm? I saw the vinyl printing but the only real reason I play them at 45 rpm is because your software let me do that.
Answering your question: Time to play in a vinyl has no sense when the vinyl is endless like your vinyls are supossed to be. Maybe for you it makes no difference, but for a lot of users there is a big difference of touch between playing at 33 and 45 rpm.
From now, I'll start to play them at 33 rpm but please, think about this problem or remove the "45 rpm" checkbox, so you won't have more confussed users.
Thank you.
Best regards.
Alguien escribió:Hello,
actually you're right, but we never had any reports on this, seems that no one
noted this before.
Actually after we made some test, we can confirm that you will hear beatjumps from
the endless vinyl at 45rpm.
While the normal playback works on 33 and 45 rpm, the endless track works only at
33 rpm.
Since I agree that this should not be the case I filed this as Bug.
For future reference, this is the corresponding Bug Nr:
Bug #55117 - if TC vinyl reaches the 'endless' track, you get beatskipping at
45rpm while at 33rpm all is fine
As soon as we have a solution we will release this as an update or we will contact
you directly via email.
