Hello. I have a Digi 002 and I would like to know if a Focusrite Saffire pro 40 can be connected via ADAT to the Digi. I have read that de Pro 40 doesn´t work in standalone mode but I don´t know if this specification makes the connection imposible. Could you help me please? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your mail,
Sorry for the delay in my reply - we have been having some problems with our spam filter and as a result your support request got lost in our system.
It has not been tested, but I would imagine that if you ran the two devices off of their own FireWire bus (so you will probably need to purchase a FireWire expansion card), then using Saffire Pro 40 Control route the analogue inputs to the ADAT outputs, there should be no reason why you couldn't connect the ADAT out of the Pro 40 to the 002 ADAT In so that you can use it in Pro Tools.
However, as I have said, this has not been tested. Let me know if you wish to do this, and I will get our testing department to try it out.
Best Regards,
Scott Jenkins

Hello,
No problem for the delay. And yes, I wish to do this.
Thanks in advance.

This configuration has been tested, and we can confirm that it does work.
It would be advised that you run the Pro 40 and the digi 002 on separate FireWire buses to avoid bandwidth constrictions.
Let me know if I can be of further assistance.
