I've been making a device which translates JD-800 patches to the JD-08 and was asked by an owner if it would be possible to extend it to do so for the Jupiter X/m.
It is! 😉😀 I've written the first round of code and while there are a couple of errors, so far it looks like it's going to work.
Are there any owners willing to test the output for me please? Ideally, I'm looking for someone in the European time zone (I'm in London) and maybe America (when I'm working late 😂)
All I need you to do is import a .mid file to your daw and play it to your JD-800 enabled X/m. HOPEFULLY it will upload a new sound to it.
This will, ultimately, allow patch dumps from the JD-800 to the X/m or from a patch librarian to the X/m
